Steuart Jones MA Vet MB MRCVS
Steuart joined the Christchurch
Practice in 1986 having previously worked in 2 other Dorset Practices
and has been a Partner since 1988. Now the Managing Partner, he
retains an active role with particular interest in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. His
interests include skiing, boating and he has several pets including dogs
and cats. |

Philip Hughes BVSc MRCVS
Philip qualified
from Liverpool University and has been with the Practice as
a Partner for 29 years. He has extensive experience in mixed
practice with a keen interest in small animal and equine
medicines. Philip enjoys riding his horses and looking after
his cats and chickens. |

Emma Newton BVSc Cert VOphthal MRCVS
Emma graduated from
Bristol University in 1999 and has worked in mixed practice
in Kent and Bedford. She passed her Certificate in
Veterinary Ophthalmology in 2006, and has joined PVG to
develop and expand eye expertise at the practice, also
taking referrals from nearby vets. Emma likes playing
netball and any other sport that she has time for with a
busy family life. |

Louise Nixon BVet Med MRCVS
Louise qualified
from London University in 1997 and has considerable
experience working in previous practices including the RSPCA
and PDSA. She has two cats and enjoys riding and
windsurfing. |

Karen Harris BVetMed MRCVS
Karen joined us
following a 5 month overseas trip where she worked for a
charity vet in the South Pacific. She has a keen interest in
soft tissue surgery, equine medicine and animal welfare. She
enjoys sailing, horse riding and has a pet rabbit called
Doug. |

Jenny Ricketts MA VetMB MRCVS
Jenny
qualified in 2007 from Cambridge University and comes from
the Southampton area. Having recently moved, house
renovations are high priority but her real interests are
marine mammal medicine and she is a qualified medic with the BDMLR (British Divers Marine Life Rescue). |

Róisín Dickinson MA VetMB MRCVS
Róisín joined us in
September 2008 having studied at the RVC in London. She
enjoys all aspects of mixed practice particularly small
animal medicine and surgery. Róisín, in her spare time,
studies sign language and is a keen sports player. She
especially loves rugby and is happiest when cheering Ireland
onto another win! |

Anna Borlase MA VetMB MRCVS
Anna joined us in
January 2009 after having travelled to Mexico to work with
an equine charity in a donkey santuary and then working her
way round Central America. She is interested in small animal
and equine medicine and enjoys practicing her Spanish. |

Anna Fagan MA VetMB MRCVS
Anna qualified in
2005 and has worked in small animal and also farm practice
with the emphasis on dairy and beef herds. She plays rugby
for a ladies team and is an advanced scuba diver. Anna has
also found time to travel and see much of the world. |

Sophie Bell MA VetMB MRCVS
Sophie graduated
from Glasgow vet school and has returned back home to
develop her veterinary experience. Her interests include
writing songs and performing music, along with horse riding
in the New Forest. |
